
Alicia Mendez is a Senior Consultant for Chartis Clinical Quality Solutions with over 27 years of consulting and healthcare experience. They are an authority in credentialing and enrollment process improvement across a spectrum of healthcare settings and numerous accreditation standards. Alicia also advocates for redefining certain healthcare practices to create greater equity for healthcare practitioners and patients who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC).
In their work, Alicia helps clients standardize their approach to enrollment and credentialing by developing structures that allow them to scale for growth, reduce non-value-add redundancies, and develop and maintain metrics vital to onboarding and retaining providers. Their experience and standardized approach simplify the implementation of the firm's methodologies, leading to client success and growth.
Prior to joining the firm, Alicia gained a wealth of expertise from working in traditional medical staffing, managed care, ambulatory care, and related settings. This experience has given them a well-rounded understanding of clients’ healthcare credentialing and enrollment needs.
Alicia received their Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Community Health from New Jersey City University (NJCU).
